Les Corts and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi Pre-Employment Service (SP LC and SSG)
What is the SP LC and SSG?
The Servei Prelaboral de Les Corts and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (SP LC and SSG) [Les Corts and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi Pre-Employment Service] is a specialised social service for education and skills training and the beginning of an insertion into work programme for people with mental disorder run by the Catalan Health Care and Social Services Institute Primary Network of Public Social Services.
What are its functions?
The SP provides education and skills training for work through an individual insertion plan, directed at the acquisition, recovery and maintenance of skills for insertion into and maintenance of supported or ordinary work.

Who does it coordinate with?
The SP coordinates its activities with the employment, health, mental health, social and community services of the district.
Who does it target?
The SP targets people of working age with a moderated disability due to mental disorder.
How do you request the service?
By telephone or by the user or family in person. Interviews are by appointment.
Who makes up the team?
It is a team comprised of psychologists, social educators, social workers, social integrators and workshop leaders.
When is it open?
The centre is open for consultations from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm and from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
