What is the Social Club?
The Club Social (CS) [Social Club] is a specialised social service run by the Primary Network of Public Social Services of the Institut Català d’Assistència i Serveis Socials (ICASS) [Catalan Health Care and Social Services Institute].

What are its functions?
The Social Club is a resource which promotes social participation and inclusion through leisure.

What services does it offer?
The CS offers activities organised by the service itself, participation in activities carried out in the area and activities organised by the users. Their mission is:

·   To organise users' free time in a gratifying way. 
·   To foster communication and contacts between the users.
·   To encourage users to make contacts, exchanges and generally get the most out of the surrounding community.

It organises and participates in cultural, recreational and sports activities, cyber cafe, exhibitions, shows, concerts, trips, etc.

Who does it coordinate with?
The CS coordinates its activities with the district health, mental health, social and community services.

Who does it target?
People over 18, users of the Mental Health Services.

How do you join?
By telephone or in person. Interviews are by appointment.

Who makes up the team?
It is a team comprised of a psychologist, social educator and social integrator.

When is it open?
Opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and weekends.
